The Clocktower Champagne is a mechanical 3 hand dress watch based on classic British Gothic clocktowers. Housed in a 316L stainless steel case with 3D clocktower details. It features a dynamic sunburst champagne dial that glistens in the light.

The Clocktower has a unique case design with flowers, diamonds, and arrow tips etched into each corner of the case. Pillars line the top and bottom of the case featuring etched arches for that authentic Gothic look. And a signed crown? Of course. As Area Nostalgia doesn't have an icon logo we've taken the flower from the case detail and etched it onto the crown - linking the case and crown together.

At 30mm in size, with a compact lug to lug of just 39mm, it wears elegantly on almost any wrist size. The Clocktower is just 9mm thick thanks to the use of a hand-wound movement, and the 20mm lug width means you can have endless fun with both the supplied and aftermarket straps. The Clocktower was designed to be a strap monster - so let loose and go crazy.

The Clocktower Champagne's warm dial tone evokes classic watchmaking heritage whilst remaining thoroughly contemporary. The golden sunburst finish is incredibly dynamic - especially outside in full light.

First Edition

The Clocktower is a watch that I want to make for the next 30 years - but these are the only models that will ever say first edition. Each watch will be numbered 1/100 on the caseback where it currently says 'First Edition'. So if this watch becomes a future classic - you'll own one of the first ones ever made.

Clocktower Case

The star of the show is, of course, the beautifully detailed case. The flowers, arrow tips and arches are taken from both the Manchester town hall clock and Manchester cathedral clocktower. This detailing is deep, with polishing on the upper surface and a matte finish below for ultimate contrast.

I absolutely love my Clocktower! Its simply stunning. I am in real estate and use this watch as my open house piece and it is always a conversation starter which is awesome! The quality, the design language, it really is unapologetically niche in all the best ways. In fact, I love it so much, I went and grabbed myself a BEE as well for a more casual look!

Very pleased with the Champagne Clocktower. Although a small watch, it has a lot of wrist presence and a unique design, I have had numerous questions raised about it and many people comment on the unusual design. In essence it is more a dress watch but I have been wearing it regularly all day. It is comfortable to wear and really legible given its size. And the dog loves it (see pic).

Amazingggg watch for the price, beautiful details, It’s such a strap monster. It goes with every strap I own. Love the straps it came with too! So many options, and definitely will be buying more! I also love the dial so much I can’t stop looking at it!

The Clocktower Champagne is an absolute stunner in person. Beyond its gorgeous dial and great proportions, the quick-release strap system is a total game changer. Having the flexibility to easily swap between different straps makes the watch incredibly versatile; it genuinely feels like owning four distinct watches in one piece. Fantastic craftsmanship and unbeatable daily wearability. Highly recommended!

As I earlier wrote a comment about Clocktower Champagne, it's a very elegant and well proportioned dress watch. It has original design and inheritance from Manchester. Really like the well thought out strap options and colors. A good overall impression and sleek design. Well done:)

Heyloo! I want to say my many thanks to your wonderful watch.

I have been constantly looking for a square looking watch, not an exact copy of the Cartier tank or Santos. But something unique in design. In which, your lovely watch has done beautifully.

I was looking for a watch that wouldn't be in a crazy price point. But not something as "cheap" and "bland" like some of the Casio & Seiko tanks (although they do are pretty, they look repetitive & give off a "cash-grab" vibe).

For some odd reason, the Clocktower watch's design gives off a vibe as if it could have a JLC Reverso complication.

I thank you for the little letter. I hope you continue pursuing your passion for making watches. I think the idea of going for similar watch designs, just different special places of other countries.

Such as the Eifel tower of Paris, Mount Fuji from Japan (even tho it's not rly based in 1 city. But 2), and the Burj Khalifa... Y'know... I feel like exploring the other special places of other countries would be pretty cool.

I have enjoyed my clocktower champagne. It is more of a strap monster than you think.

I really love the vintage vibes the champagne dial and mesh strap gives off. I uselly would avoid gold colours in watches but I'm glad I got it. Also it looks way better than the renderings of it so if your own the fence you should go for it. If I had the money I would also buy the teal dial, they both look really good.

I ordered the Clocktower Champagne as soon as the watch became available for pre-order and though it was a pretty long wait for delivery it was worth it in the end. It's such a unique and interesting watch I don't think there is anything else like it on the market right now. The mechanical movement keeps excellent time too which was one of the things I was a bit worried about when I ordered the watch. For £279 I think it's great value and I honestly can't fault any part of the watch so I would definitely recommend it!
